Categories classify events, tasks, classes, and requirements, and are hierarchical. Click the gear icon, and in the Requirements block click Categories, then New Category. For a top-level category (e.g. Firefighting), set Parent to Top Level and type the Name. For a subcategory (e.g. Hose Evolutions under Firefighting), choose the parent in Parent and type the subcategory name.

Create top-level and sub-categories to classify events, tasks, classes, and requirements.
