Deactivating a user (vs. deleting)

What happens when you remove a staff account, and logging in as another user.

Deleting a staff account from the UI deactivates that user's membership for your current organization β€” it doesn't necessarily delete the global user record. This keeps their history intact while removing them from your active roster.

Tip: Root users and administrators can "log in as" another user to troubleshoot; a Logout as [user] control returns you to your own account.
