Certifications and their statuses

A certification belongs to a user, your organization, and a certification type, with fields like certificate ID number, description, valid-from, valid-until, a public flag, and an optional attachment. Find them at Staff > user profile > Certifications, or via the certification alert links.

Statuses:

• Active — valid-from is blank or past, valid-until is blank or future, and not inactivated.
• Expired — valid-until is before today and not inactivated.
• Renewed/inactivated — has an inactivated-at date.
• Current — the most recent record by user, org, type, and valid-until (blank valid-until counts as current).
