What is a Class?

What a Class is and the three ways to use it — self-study, event supplement, or training library.

A Class is a space where instructors and training staff organize learning materials — text, videos, file attachments, links, and an optional quiz — for others to use. Anyone who can manage training (Training: Manage, or an Administrator) can create one; if you don't have that, ask an administrator.

Classes can be used three ways:

  • Self-study — assign the class to staff with a Task, where they either self-certify they reviewed it or take a quiz.
  • Supplement to an event — attach a class to a training event for materials before or after in-person training.
  • Training library — a reusable place to keep materials staff can review anytime.

Find classes under Training Resources > Classes (the menu may simply say Classes).
